MTPC invites all Registered HKUST Student Groups to submit digital posters promoting their activities. The posters will be showcased across a wide range of digital displays on campus. Every submission will receive a souvenir and will be eligible for both a Lucky Draw and the Design Competition.
Procedures
- Submit your poster using the Poster Submission Form. To participate in the Design Competition, simply check the "Join Competition" option. All digital poster submissions will be entered into the Lucky Draw by default.
- Collect your souvenir at Creative Media Zone (CMZ), LG1 Library after your poster submission has been confirmed via email. (Opening hours – Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM)
- To encourage design diversity, each student group may submit up to 4 poster designs for a single event (see Definition), each in a different display format (e.g., horizontal notice board, vertical notice board, L-Shape LED, and transparent LED). Each unique format will count as an individual entry in the Lucky Draw and in the Design Competition.
- To ensure fair opportunities for all participants, each event can win only one Lucky Draw prize and one Design Competition prize.
Technical Specifications
- Static posters: JPG or PNG format, under 5MB.
- Dynamic posters (with video or animation): MP4 or MOV format, with a duration of either 30 or 60 seconds.

Eligibility Requirements
- Open to all officially registered HKUST student groups.
- Poster designs must have been created in 2026 or later by current HKUST students.
- All poster designs must be original work and must not infringe upon any intellectual property rights.
Judging Criteria
- Design Visual Appeal (50%)Layout, aesthetics, and overall design quality.
- Creative Use of Digital Displays (30%)How effectively the poster leverages the strengths of digital display technologies.

Variety of Formats (20%)Effective use of different display formats, including horizontal, vertical, L-Shape, and transparent displays.
- Submissions using only 1 format will receive 0 points for this criterion.
- Submissions using 2 or more formats will be scored proportionally based on the number and quality of formats used.
Definitions of Event
- For the purposes of this competition, an "event" refers to a single named activity with a specific date or period (e.g., Orientation Camp, Cultural Night, Career Fair).
MTPC reserves the right of final decision and interpretation of all terms and details of the competition.
